To learn more about the Whatcom County Sexual Health Coalition continue reading below.
Sexual health is an important part of a person’s overall health and well-being. Community efforts are needed to address sexual health issues within our county and help empower people to be in charge of their sexual health. The Sexual Health Coalition was created to provide a neutral space for agencies in Whatcom County to share resources and help each other to promote sexual health in our community.
Meetings
The Coalition has quarterly meetings that take place at rotating meeting sites and times. Welcome to all who have an open mind and are respectful to other people even if their opinions differ from their own.
So what happens in these meetings?
Most of the time this is an opportunity to network with other organizations and people who are passionate about sexual health. There are usually set agenda items that are sent to members in advance of the meeting but the team is always evolving and changing as needed. Members always have the opportunity to request meeting topics.
